How the natural, vibrational resonance of all matter can be used to change our health.
The Discovery System is based on the physics of subtle energy, the natural, vibrational resonance of all matter, with the human body as a multi-dimensional field of particularized energy. At the heart of this expanded view of therapeutics and preventive medicine is the application of post-Einsteinian concepts of modern physics to medicine.
The Discovery system uses a synthesis of state-of-the-art electrical and computer technology and the ancient concepts of Chinese and European medicine. Known as CHI in traditional Chinese medicine and VITAL FORCE in European natural medicine, this bio-electric energy is said to flow through a series of circuits called meridians which can be affected by stimulating the topical acupoints of the body.
THE BEGINNING
The first attempt at recording an electrical an electrical change to illness occurring in the body was made by W. E. Boyd, a homeopathic physician working in Glasgow in the early part of the 20th century. Boyd’s work was the subject of a government study which concluded that definite and reproducible physical phenomena were produced by medicaments in the circuit and that this phenomena was not explainable by conventional electromagnetic theory.
DR. VOLL
In the late 1940's, Dr. Reinhold Voll, a German physician and dentist, established a measurement scale to measure skin resistance. Dr. Voll found that by measuring the Galvanic Skin Resistance (GSR) at specific acupuncture points, he could predict, with accuracy, various kinds of trouble in the area supported by that meridian. This technique is called Electro-Acupuncture according to Voll (EAV).
DR. SCHIMMEL
In the 1970's, Dr. Helmut Schimmel, another German physician and dentist, developed the Vegatest method. Dr. Schimmel found EAV testing was time-consuming and tiring, and he proposed that a homeopathic test ampoule rather than a particular acupuncture point should be the focus of the test. An acupuncture point on the finger is chosen (lymph or triple-warmer is best), then a test ampoule, for example - liver is put in the circuit. A measurement is taken both before and after the ampoule is inserted (control and provoked), and if the provoked reading is lower than the control reading then this indicates that the liver is stressed. Over the last few decades, the library of test ampoules has grown to include all organ structures and thousands of diseases, syndromes, pathogens, allergens, and environmental toxins.
INFORMATION ACCESS WINDOWS
Also in the 1970's, William A. Tiller, Ph.D. at Stanford University in California discovered that acupuncture points had an optimal resistance in a healthy person. During illness, the resistance changed. Dr. Tiller called these new low resistance points information access windows.
FIRST COMPUTER
In 1979, the ACUPATH 1000, which developed into the INTERRO, became the first computerized Bioenergetic EAV device. The Interro was a huge breakthrough, bringing Bioenergetic testing to the threshold of the Information Age.
DISCOVERY
The DISCOVERY SYSTEM is a continuation of a project begun in 1989. Using the principles of Dr. Schimmel’s Vegatest method and state-of-the-art computer technology, the Discovery system is, again, a huge leap forward. Using modern database techniques to organize its huge data library, the Discovery System allows the health practitioner to obtain a comprehensive and complete status report of the patient in just about one hour. It will "discover" indications of infections, inflammations, and toxic problems in the earliest stages of electrical manifestation. The advantages for good health are obvious.
