Ortho Molecular’s DEEPER GREENS is an Organic food, deriving its ORAC value from natural concentrates of common foods as opposed to botanical extracts or other purified metabolites. We use organically grown vegetables and fruits that meet the strict new USDA criteria for organic food claims.

By using only organic foods, we are sourcing raw materials that are stronger and more robust than foods grown with the help of pesticides and other chemicals. ORAC ValueOxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) is a unit value assigned by researchers to measure a food’s antioxidant value. Foods with a high ORAC value are beneficial to the body by increasing plasma antioxidant levels. Since these values are difficult to influence in the body, any increase in plasma antioxidants is significant.

Raw fruits and vegetables have a unique combination of antioxidants that have proven better than supplementation with individual antioxidant vitamins.
